Terms of service

This English version is provided for convenience. The Japanese version is the binding original; in case of any discrepancy, the Japanese text prevails.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the LMS / AI-enablement platform ("Service") provided by Shoki Co., Ltd. ("we"/"us"). By using the Service, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms govern the conditions under which the Service is provided and the rights and obligations between us and the user, and apply to every aspect of the user's use of the Service.

Article 2 (Registration)

Anyone wishing to use the Service must register as a user in the manner we specify. We may refuse or cancel registration if the information provided is false or deemed inappropriate.

Article 3 (Account management)

The user is responsible for managing their own account information. Any action taken through the user's account is deemed an action of that user.

Article 4 (Prohibited conduct)

In using the Service, the user must not:

  • Violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Infringe the rights or interests of other users or third parties
  • Engage in unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or similar acts
  • Engage in any conduct we deem inappropriate

Article 5 (Provision, changes, and suspension of the Service)

We may change, add to, or suspend the Service without prior notice to users. We are not liable for any damages arising to users as a result.

Article 6 (Intellectual property)

Copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Service belong to us or to rightful third parties. The user must not use them without our permission.

Article 7 (Disclaimers)

We do not guarantee that the Service is free from factual or legal defects. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damages incurred by users through use of the Service.

Article 8 (Usage restrictions and account termination)

If a user violates these Terms, we may restrict their use of the Service or terminate their registration without prior notice.

Article 9 (Changes to these Terms)

We may change these Terms when we consider it necessary. Any changes take effect when they are posted on this page.

Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute between us and the user regarding the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over our head office location.
